Utah Family Photographer / Snow Basin

Well I can’t believe it’s already November. Fall has come and gone.  In a Utah family photographers world that means things start slowing down. Yay.. Time for the Holidays. This cute family hit probably the most perfect fall picture week this season.  Snow Basin, Utah never disappoints for family pictures.  The leaves were still vibrant and all sorts of perfect.. then the cold and snow hit.  This is one of my favorite family sessions this year.  Lane, Ruby and their sweet babe are just beautiful.

Albion Basin / Utah Family Photographer

The Schroeder Family.. I actually went to high school (like a million years ago) with this cute new mama.  Tiffany and I were really good friends back in the day and have recently reconnected when she was looking for a family photographer in Utah.  It has been 10 years since we have seen each other and it felt like we hadn’t skipped a beat over all this time.  I love love love being a Utah Photographer because of all the relationships I have made.. whether you are an old friend or a new client, I absolutely LOVE capturing your cute families.

Albion Basin / Utah Engagement Photographer

Jason & Sheree.  Look at these two. I wish me and my hubby were this stylish.  I actually met Sheree on a different photoshoot earlier this year.  She was the hair and makeup artist for one of my brides.  After that shoot she contacted me, a utah wedding photographer, to take some engagement style pics of her and her husband for their anniversary.  She wanted a dark romantic vibe so we headed up to albion basin right at dusk to get some dewey yummy light.  She wore the cutest dress from Free People and styled it up with a hat, booties, and her handsome hubby.. Take a minute and just SWOON over these two..

Lavender Fields / Utah Wedding Photographer

Shae & Kourtney.. You may think by the looks of these two that they are models.. no no.. real life couple! They are tying the knot this august.  The lavender fields at Young Living Farms have been calling my name this last month… Keep in mind I live 3 hours from the fields.  I woke up at 3:30 am to get to the fields in time for a sunrise shoot.  This is the part about being a Utah Wedding Photographer that no one tells you about.  But by the looks of these images tho..it was totally worth it.  Check out all the vendors involved in making everything come together.

(On a side note.. It’s funny starting out as a Utah Photographer I didn’t plan on shooting weddings.  It has now become the bulk of my business.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Brides & Grooms and being a part of their special day.  I feel like after 5 years I have found what I truly love… and sessions like these make me love being a Utah Wedding Photographer even more.  So all you couples out there.. CALL ME!! I would love to work with you.)

XoXo

Engagements / Utah Wedding Photographer

Garrett & Angie.. I am finally getting around to doing a little blogging. I just finished shooting this couples wedding a few days ago and it reminded me that I HAD to post some pictures of their engagements out at the Great Saltaire in Utah. I love engagement shoots. Its the first time I get to meet a bride and groom and it is always the start to a great friendship. It’s one of the major perks of being a Utah Wedding Photographer.. but it does all come to an end when they get married you feel like your losing your newest best friends.  These two were no exception. They literally had me at hello and I couldn’t have been more excited to capture this special time in their lives.

Utah Engagements / Utah Wedding Photographer

Trevor and Bailee.. Bailee wanted a light, happy feel to her pics so we headed out to antelope island. I think the wind was blowing like a million miles per hour the morning we took these engagements.  It’s what makes being a professional Utah photographer a little bit tricky.  Honestly tho..the wind is what makes a lot of the shots seem so dramatic. I kinda fell in love with the wind.. for a second.  But I have to give it to them, they were troopers.  In the end I feel like we ended up with exactly what we were going for. Light, airy, and full of genuine love.  XoXo.

Style Bridals / Utah Wedding Photographer

Vera Wang had me at hello.  Seriously fell in LOVE with this dress as soon as I saw it. It is actually a rental from Bridal Brilliance Rentals in Clearfield, Utah.  They have such a great selection and killer prices for high end designer gowns.  We were hoping for a clear blue day out at Antelope Island, but the fog settled in so we went with it anyway. I love how it turned out.. cause when else can you pair a fur coat with a wedding gown? Enjoy..

Utah Wedding Photographer / Eaglewood Golf Course Wedding

Meryl & Chase.. These two make a cold winter wedding look warm and dreamy.  Now that were in the dead of the winter season the light is pretty much gone by 4:30-5.  The Eaglewood Golf Course in Bountiful, Ut. is such a beautiful back drop for a wedding.  I am so glad we had a few minutes before sun down to grab a few shots of these two at their venue.  Side note.. Isn’t her bouquet to DIE for?? Sweet Grace Floral Company did an amazing job on these winter florals. Sit back and swoon..
