Dunn Wedding / Utah Wedding Photographer

I was lucky enough to photograph the Wedding of Grant and Zoi Dunn. It was in my opinion the wedding of 2018. I honestly felt like I was watching a Hollywood movie the entire night. They reminded me of movie stars just playing out the most perfect day. The bride chose the classic black & white wedding. Zoi’s mom did an amazing job designing the entire event. When you see the pictures of the reception “tent” you will be impressed with her mommy skills.

No detail was missed.. right down to Grant’s “supreme” socks. His dad even wore a matching pair to honor Grant. Such Class, grace, and FUN! The night ended with the best DANCE party. Thanks to DJ Ricky Barrera they could have partied ALL NIGHT LONG. Scroll along with me and see why no-one wanted this night to end!

Lilac Beauty / Utah Bride

The Secret Garden does exist. I did a serious double take when I came across the little gem location.  Jaw dropping. It was like walking into Ireland.  This Lilac beauty was overtaking the most quaint little rock wall on the side of the road. Well.. and the rest is history.

Lummi Island Wedding / Destination Wedding Photographer

PINCH ME. This Lummi Island Wedding was Published in PRINT in the 2021 Utah Valley Bride Magazine. Kaylie and I met years ago. She actually modeled for me as a bride for a styled shoot. I was so flattered that she chose me as her REAL WEDDING photographer. She has modeled for several other photographers and it meant so much that she trusted me to capture her special day. It was the icing on the CAKE when Utah Valley Bride featured her wedding in print in this years publication. Here are some snippets from the article:

MEET CUTE. Richie and Kaylie met as desk mates at work and became best friends turned lovers.  PLANNING. They planned a small destination wedding in Lummi Island, Washington.  Richie’s parents own a home on the island and so they packed up their family and closest friends for a romantic celebration.  BEST BITE. The paella! Shrimp, oysters, clams, potatoes, and rice and all sorts of yummy spices and sauce cooked up in a large pan – a delicious seafood fest.  VENDOR FAVE. “Summer Taylor was an absolute dream to work with.  She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.”  ALL STAR ACCESSORY.  Kaylie’s great-grandmother’s “forget-me-not” earings.  Kaylie and Richie’s wedding day look was rich and romantic – from Richie’s emerald green suit to Kaylie’s classic gown.  “I felt timeless.” STANDOUT DETAIL. Faux Flowers by the talented Gracefully Bloomed.  LOCATION. The ceremony took place looking out over the ocean, and an evening reception was held in the rustic renovated airplane hanger.

It truly was a magical weekend. Because Lummi Island is so small with little to no food / acccomodations I spent the weekend sharing an airbnb with Kaylie’s family.  I was treated like kin. Literally.  The night before the wedding Richie’s parents hosted a “rehearsal dinner” if you will. It was homemade chowder served right from their home after a day hike with the bridal party. I will never forget the relationships I made over the weekend and both families have a special place in my heart. XOXO.

White Shanty Wedding / Utah Wedding Photographer

In honor of TACO TUESDAY I had to share this Mexican themed wedding. When Abe & Kristen first contacted me they had me hooked as soon as they mentioned Tacos & Churros at the reception. And then after meeting them I was even more HOOKED. Not just because of the amazing taste in food and perfection of details and decor for the wedding day, but their love story was so full of compassion and patience. It was finally their turn!! And I couldn’t wait to capture it all. Of course when I showed up the The White Shanty in Provo, Ut. it was nothing short of perfection. And if you want to see the BEST wedding favor I have EVER SEEN you must scroll to the end. Think Tapatio. I must warn you tho… You will want a HUBBY & TACOS immediately after reading this post.

Jaunt Through The Woods / Utah Engagement Photographer

I couldn’t help but blog this engagement session after having it named Best Of Engagements 2018 by Utah Valley Bride. Aghhhh PINCH me. They put it best… “This jaunt through the woods had us smiling + sighing all the scroll long.” Of course the real rock stars of this session were Paul and Carlie!

Colton & Mindi / Southern Utah Engagement Photographer

Colton & Mindi.  I would be lying if I said this SUNNY engagement session doesn’t have me craving the WARM.  I took these engagements down in St. George, Utah at Sand Hollow over Thanksgiving weekend.  My family and I always spend Thanksgiving down south.  It’s such a great getaway before the hustle and bustle of the busy holiday season and a great way to escape the COLD settling in for winter up north.  Sure enough when we returned home.. SNOW! And I think I have been shoveling every day since.  So to say I’m excited to be heading back down to St. George for these two to seal the deal this spring would be an understatement.
